Sagar/ Shimoga: Public discourses of Qur’an in Kannada language were held here in the Gandhi grounds, Sagar on 3rd and 4th January 2016, organised by the Jammat-e-Islami Hind, Sagar Unit. Janab Lal Husain Kandgal presented the Qur’anic Discourses on the topics “Qur’an-The Final Divine Book of Allah” & “Prophet Muhammad(s)-His Life and Message”. Mr. Kagodu Thimmappa, honorouble speaker,Karnataka Legislative Assembly inaugurated the programme. Dr. Basavalinga Mahaswami, Shirur, Bagalkote district and Shri M. N. P. Dr. Mahanta Swami, Sorab were the chief guests besides many other guests including social, religious and political leaders of Sagar and surrounding areas.
