Hassan: Public discourses of Qur’an and Seerath in Kannada language were held here in the Kalakshetra on 8th, 9th and 10th January 2016, organised by the Jammat-e-Islami Hind, Hassan Unit. Janab Lal Husain Kandgal presented the Qur’anic Discourses on the topics “Happy Family”, “Human Rights” & “Prophet Muhammad(s)-His Life and Message”. Shri Shri Shri Shambhunatha Swami, Aadichunchunagiri Matha, Hassan, Shri Shri Shri Somashekar Shiwacharya Swami, Pushtagiri Mahasamsthana Matha, Hassan District, Dr. Hampana Halli Timme Gowda, literateur, Shri R. P. Venkatesha Murthy, Editor, Janatha Madhyama, Hassan and Shri Venu Gopal K. Al Ameen School, Sakleshpur were the chief guests.
