On Sunday evening, the Jamaat Islami Hind Bhatkal branch and Sadbhavana Manch Bhatkal held an ‘Iftar Souhardasangama’ program at the Dawat Centre in Sultan Street, Bhatkal. The event was attended by people from various faiths and aimed to promote communal harmony and unity.
Prominent personalities such as Nagendra Nayka, Fr. RS leader Noor Jamia Masjid Khateeb, Imam Maulana Muhammad Amin Ruknuddin Nadvi, President of Sadbhavana Manch Bhatkal Satish Kumar Nayka, former MLA JD Nayka, Namdhari Samaj leader M.R Nayka, and Kannada Sahitya Parishad President Gangadhar Nayka spoke on the occasion.
The program was presided over by Maulana Syed Zubair S.M., the President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Bhatkal. In his introductory speech, M.R. Manvi, the Secretary of Sadbhavana Manch, highlighted the importance of the event and its aim to promote harmony among different communities.
