Tumkur: A one-day district level Tarbiyah programme was held on “Rudaad-Jamaat-e-Islami Hind” on Sunday 13th March 2016 at the Islamic Centre, Tumkur. Janab Muhammad Shameemuddeen Hyder, President, JIH Raichur was the chief guest who presented four extensive lectures on the subject. It should be noted that the “Rudaad Jamaat-e-Islami Hind” is a narration of Jamaat’s pre-independence journey, compiled and published in five parts. Janab Shameemuddeen highlighted the efforts of Moulana Syed Abul Aala Moududi in the formation of the Jamaat. He narrated the highlights of important events held until 1946. Every lecture was followed by a session of questions and answers. Janab Laeequllah Khan Mansoori, district organisor, JIH Tumkur presented the Inaugural and concluding speeches. Janab Mukarram Sayeed, President, JIH Tumkur introduced the life and contributions of Moulana Moududi Rahmatullahi Alaihi. A documentary was shown on the Jamaat’s activities. Around 80 affiliates of the Jamaat including members, workers, associates, cadres of Women’s Wing, SIO, GIO and Solidarity attended the event.
