Qamarunnisa saheba of Bangalore no more

Qamarunnisa saheba Rukn Jamaat e Islami Hind and mother of Shura member  Dr. Taha Mateen expired on 9th September 2011 10:30pm at Bangalore. Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiwoon, may Allah forgive her and provide Jannatul Firdous, Aameen

Fondly called as Quamar Aapa, was one of the first women members of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, (JIH) in the erstwhile Mysore State. She happens to be first organiser of Jamaat’s womens wing.  Qamarunnisa sb , was a woman of substance and had played pivotal role in bringing her children and providing outstanding support to her husband, Jb Abdul Azeez also a Rukn of JIH.

Her Namaaze Janaza was lead by her son Dr. Muhammad Taha Mateen at Masjid-e-Mamoor. She was burried in Shanti Nagar graveyard. Many eminent personalities of the city along with representatives of JIH were present.

Muhammad Jaffar sb Naib Ameere Jamaat and Muhammad Abdullah Javed President JIH Karnataka have condoled the death and prayed Almighty Allah to bless her with Jannah and  strengthen the family members to overcome the loss.
