Jamaat Youth Wing holds Youth Convention in Bangalore

“Muslim Youth must bring a new revolution through united efforts”: Muhammad Abdullah Javed

Bangalore:  “Muslim youth can bring a change if they gear up for it. We Muslims have been raised to rescue humanity from darkness of ignorance and bring them to the light of Islam. Muslim youth should have a clarity of vision and mission of their life that they should be constantly committed to serve humanity by having a firm relation with Allah” said Janab Muhammad Abdullah Javed, president, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Karnataka while presiding over a youth convention organized by the Youth Wing, JIH Bangalore Metro here in BIFT Auditorium on 17 June 2012 which was attended by a huge gathering of youngsters. Janab Syed Mumtaz Mansoori, advisory member, Youth Wing, JIH Karnataka in his speech explained the couplet of Allama Iqbal ‘Uqaabi Rooh Jab Bedar Hoti Hai Jawano mae’ and said that “youth age is the only period of human life which can bring a change, whereas childhood and old age have their own limitations”. In his key-note address, Dr. Muhammad Taha Mateen, Convenor, JIH Bangalore Metro motivated the youngsters to ensure an organized struggle to strengthen the mission of Islamic Movement in India. Janab Laeequllah Khan Mansoori, advisory member, Youth Wing, JIH Karnataka presented a Qur’anic talk based on the verses of suratul Kahf and narrated the courage, hardships and sacrifices of Ashab-e-Kahf in presenting Islam to the polytheist society. Janab Taher Hussain, state coordinator, Youth Wing, JIH Karnataka introduced youth wing to the audience and appealed to get associated with it for a united effort to bring a change in society.

Janab Naveed Imran Maniyar, advisory member, Youth Wing, JIH Karnataka welcomed the gathering and presented the highlights of the programme in his inaugural talk. Br. Syed Mujahid presented a tarana of Allama Iqbal ‘Kabhi Aye Naujawan Muslim’. Janab Haris Belgami presented the vote of thanks, whereas Janab Abubakr Siddiq was the convenor for the convention. Dr. Belgami Muhammad Sa’d, secretary, JIH Karnataka was also present on the dais. The programme concluded with the dua of Allama Iqbal ‘Ya Rab Dil-e-Muslim Ko’ presented by Br. Ameen Ahsan.
