Solidarity Youth Movement, Karnataka organised a successful State Youth Convention “Dignity, Justice and Unity – Youth Ahead” on 3rd & 4th March 2017 at Hira Campus Mangalore.
The convention was inaugurated by the Key note address of Jb. Syed Sadatullah Hussaini, Vice President JIH. The program had renowned speakers and experts form different walks of life to name few Dr.Vasu from Karnataka Janashakthi, Jb Syed Tanveer Ahmad, Jb Muhammad Kunnai and Jb Muhammad Atherulla Shariff, President JIH Karnataka.
Parallel workshop were held with the following topics.

- Entrepreneurship: Mr.Nitin Shetty
- Journalism: Mr.A.K.Kukila
- Theater: Mr.Yogesh Master
- Movies & Films: Mr.Natesh Ullal
- Singing (Kranti geet): Mr.Uday Kumar
- Acting: Mr.Imtiyaz Baig
- Organic Farming: Mr.Srikumar
- Legal Activism: Mr.Shridhar Prabhu
Solidarity Youth movement state president Mudassar Ahmad delivered inaugural address. The convention had participation of 400 activist from across the state, the details report is attached with this letter. The programs were well received by the participants and were appreciated. At the end of the program a resolution was passed to eradicate Alcohol and intoxication from Karnataka.
