Resolution passed in the programme is as follows:

This public meeting terms the dismissal of duly elected president of Egypt Dr. Mohammed Morsi as illegitimate and condemns the entire act of entangling him in fake cases and then pronouncement of death sentences against him and more than 100 activists of Muslim Brotherhood including Dr. Abdul Badei and the world renowned Islamic scholar Yousuf Qardhavi by a self-styled court. The meeting considers this act as a worst kind violation of the norms of justice, human dignity, human rights, human liberty, human values and Islamic teachings. This meeting demands that the government of Egypt should nullify the sentences, withdraw the fake cases and wind up the courts immediately and release Dr. Morsi and others honourably. It should stop retaliatory acts against Muslim Brotherhood and uphold the dignity of law and justice and at no cost should bring disrespect to Egypt and its people before the world community.

This meeting appeals to the chief Mufti of the most esteemed Islamic seminary in the world Jamia Azhar to disapprove the death sentences which have been sent for his confirmation and up hold the honour of this great institution.  And also pave a way for honourable release of Dr. Mohammed Morsi and others and admonish the government to refrain from imprudent acts. Not to let down the great expectation of the Muslim community from this esteemed seminary.

This meeting appeals to all the justice loving people of India and abroad, the heads of human rights organisations and the champions of human rights to raise a strong voice against the glaring injustice in Egypt and come forward to support the torch-bearers of truth.

This meeting appeals to the government of India to uphold our glorious tradition of supporting equity and justice and with due regard to the sentiments of justice loving people of this nation and especially the Muslim community here, impress upon the government of Egypt to release the deposed president Mohammed Morsi and his numerous supporters immediately and withdraw all the cases filed against them and nullify the death sentences pronounced against them.
