Students of Mangalore University, led by SIO Dakshina Kannada, recently organized a protest to address the challenges confronting first-grade colleges. During the event, Mustafa, a student leader of Mangalore University and the district secretary of SIO Dakshina Kannada, spearheaded discussions with university officials. Seeking clarification on the accreditation status of the university’s degree colleges, Mustafa emphasized the importance of resolving these issues promptly. In response, Prof. P.L. Dharma, Vice-Chancellor of Mangalore University, assured the students that discussions with higher authorities have been productive. He affirmed his commitment to resolving all concerns regarding the university’s degree colleges, instilling confidence among the protesting students.
