Muhammad Shoukat Ali, a senior member of Jamaat in Bidar passes away

Bidar (20-5-2015): Muhammad Shoukat Ali, senior most member of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Bidar passed away in the early morning today in his home town. Marhoom Shoukat Ali had been the fourth Ameer-e-Muqami (Unit President) of Bidar since the inception of Jamaat activities in Bidar. Born in the year 1922, Shoukat saheb was associated with the Jamaat since the beginning. Became the member of Jamaat in 1947. His father Moulvi Khairaat Ali was also an Ameer e Muqami of Bidar. Father of five sons and four daughters, Marhoom Shoukat Ali was the secretary for Shanti Sandesh Trust and Treasurer of Islamic Welfare Society in Bidar. He has also been secretary of Jamia Masjid in Bidar twice. He had a thorough knowledge of Islamic history. In his young age, he was an activist of Islami Talba Tanzeem before the formation of SIO. He was also active and has served the Jamaat at various levels during his stay in Hyderabad, He was a close friend of former Ameer e Jamaat Moulana Muhammad Sirajul Hasan and late Abdul Aziz saheb, former vice president of Jamaat. His son Akram Ali is presently the district organisor of Jamaat in Bidar. Janab Muhammad Atharullah Shariff, State President, JIH Karnataka has expressed his condolences to the bereaved family of Marhoom Shoukat Ali and has prayed that may Allah forgive his sins and elevate him in Jannatul Firdous.
