Mohammad Atharullah Shariff

Janab Mohammad Atharullah Shariff took charge from Janab Mohammad Abdullah Javed and served for five years with the responsibility of Ameere Haqla Karnataka. He was a member of Zonal Advisory Council of JIH Karnataka from 1999 to 2014.

Janab Shariff s/o Muhammad Faizullah Shariff was born on 17th October 1956. A native of Kolar, Shariff has done his B.Com and B.S. in Communications. He has been associated with Jamaat since his student life by being associated with the students’ wing of the Jamaat i.e. Students’ Islamic Organisation of India. He was a member of its Zonal Advisory Council during 1989-1991. He became a member of Jamaat in 1993. Was elected a member of Jamaat’s state Shoora in 1995 and has been re-elected as its advisory body’s member till now. He has also served as the vice president of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Karnataka during the tenure of Janab Ibrahim Sayeed.
