A large number of Muslim villages in the length and breadth of Assam have been devastated and destroyed in the anti-Muslim riots started from Kokrajhar district of the State. Horrible destruction of lives and properties has been witnessed. Innumerable men and women, the old and children are compelled to leave their homes and hearths in the holy month of Ramadhan.
Jamaat-e-Islami Hind has decided to undertake immediate relief measures to meet the victims’ urgent and emergency needs as well as their rehabilitation.
