Bangalore:- The Human Resource Development Cell of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Karnataka coordinated by Solidarity Youth Movement, Karnataka and SIO Karnataka, conducted a one-day workshop on presentation and counselling skills on 29th November 2015 at Shanti Sadan. The program witnessed the release of a book titled ‘Careers for Social Change’. The book features details about professions such as Civil Service, Law, Journalism, Economics, Education and History.
Dr. Ali Khwaja, chairman, Banjara Academy and Mr. Syed Habeeb, HR Director, mPower addressed the gathering on counselling skills and presentation skills respectively. More than 40 youth participated in the program from across the state.
The program concluded with the presidential address of Janab Atharullah Shareef, President, JIH Karnataka. He spoke about the importance of the above mentioned professions and motivated the participants to take the task forward with full zeal and enthusiasm.
