Arehalli /Hassan: Gulistan Children Festival was held here for the eight time during 24th and 25th January and 7th and 8th February by the local unit of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind. Around 70 different competitions were held, out of which Literary competitions were held in January, and outdoor games were held in February. Around 300 students, from class one to 10th, participated, which included 73 non-Muslim students too. More than 200 prizes were given out to the winners.
