J.I.H Youth wing organizes blood donation camp at Ullal

Ullal: Addressing the gathering as a chief guest at the blood donation camp in Thokottu, Mohammed Mubeen, lecturer of Karavali College, Mangalore said, “Only through the service of creation can one gain divine love from the Creator. Every religion conveys the message of serving fellow human beings irrespective of differences.”

“Without differentiating on the basis of caste, religion or class, the Holy Quran calls towards helping all of humanity”, he said.

The blood donation camp was organized under the aegis of J.I.H Youth wing and social service unit at Al Furqan Arabic Institute near Highland complex, Thokottu on 1st June 2014.

In association with the Yenepoya Medical Hospital, Derlakatte, Dr.Ragini educated the masses on the subject of blood donation during the camp.

State Health Minister U.T.Khader visited the camp and wished the workers behind this initiative. Ullal municipal’s former counsellor Suhasini and Sadananda Ullal expressed their appreciation of the humanitarian activities taken by the Youth wing’s social service unit.

Around 71 people participated in the blood donation campaign.

Youth wing D.K. Asst. convener Ahmed Sharif began the programme with the recitation from the Holy Quran and addressed the gathering. Jamathe Islami Hind members Nasir Renjadi and A.H. Mohammed were present among others.
