Jamaat-E-Islami Hind is one of the largest cadre-based organizations working for the welfare of the community as well as of the country.
Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Karnataka is holding a state-level cadre convention at Bangalore from 8th to 11th February 2013. As part of the event a massive rally and a mammoth public programme is planned on 10th February 2013. The rally will commence at 10 AM from Khuddus Saheb Eidgah on Millers Road and proceed along the Queens road, Cunningham Road, Millers road and then return back to the venue of the convention.
The disturbing situation in the country today with rising corruption, moral decline, scandals, crimes against women, exploitation of weaker sections, rising prices, invasion by capitalist imperialism, caste and linguistic intolerance, fascism, Human Rights abuses etc is alarming indeed.
The tarnishing of the image of the Muslim community with allegations of terrorism and the arrest of innocent youths is highly condemnable.
In this back drop JIH wants to educate the public on the following issues in the rally and in the public programme.
- Corruption and moral decline.
- Human Rights abuses.
- Arrest of Muslim youths.
- Security of Women, Verma commission report and the Ordinance.
- The real face of terrorism.
- The pro-rich policies of Indian government.
- India’s deepening relations with the terrorist state of Israel.
- Deteriorating Political situation in Karnataka.
Moulana Syed Jalaluddin Umri, All India president of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, will lead the rally and preside over the public programme.
