Udupi: ‘Woman’ is a exclusive creation by God in this world.  She is capable of cultivating moral, ethical values in her child. We should not restrict our self to read literature, instead we all try to acquire right knowledge and exhibit the value, moral in our life said Ms. Manjula Jayakar, Educational department – Brahmavar. She was addressing a woman’s conference organized by Shanthi Prakashana on the eve of its silver jubilee programme held on 23 November at Town Hall, Udupi.

Addressing the gathering on the topic “Idea of uplifting human values by literature” Ms. Sharda, Lecturer, MGM College Udupi, said “The call and invitation by Kanakdas, Sufi saints, Jesus Christ and Prophet Muhammad was to make harmony among each other and to lead a peaceful life in the society”.

Speaking on the occasion Ms. Kulsum Abubakar sub editor ‘Anupama’ said “The literature of Shanthi Prakashana has a unique role in educating woman and makes her prominent in society”.

Swaraj Lakshmi, Maryam Asadi, Junaida Malpe presented their opinion on “Literature for peace” during the programme.  Ms. Shameera Jahan  Sub organisor Women’s Wing JIH Karnataka Presided the programme.

Program started with initial notes by Humaira Karkala. Ms. Gulnaz recited verses from Holy Quran.  Program concluded with vote of thanks by Ms. Shahida Riyaz.
