Bangalore, 7 Sep 2014: There are killings, riots and bloody confrontations everywhere in the world. This all is because man has gone away from the guidance of Allah. As Holy Quran says Pharaoh would divide the human society for his personal interests. He would help the supporting nation and unleash terror on the enemy nation. The same situation has been created by today’s Pharaohs in the country and the world. Islam has come with the message of Peace. How can it get indulged in mayhem and killings just to establish its rule? This all seems to be a conspiracy to create hatred in the mind of people about Islam. These were the expressions of Maulana Syed Jalaluddin Omari, Amir (National President) of Jamaat-e-Islami HInd) while addressing a public conference here at Masjid Qadriya Eidgah Quddus Saheb on 7th Sep.

Speaking on the topic of “Situation in the country and world and Our responsibilities”, Maulana Omari said that it is certain that there are trials and tribulations for the upholders of the Truth. One should not think that soon after embracing Islam he would get comforts. Rather, it is the path of trials and without passing through them one cannot get to Jannat.

The conference was also addressed by S Aminul Hasan, Member, Central Advisory Council, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind. While stressing unity, he called upon the Muslim community to play constructive role in the nation building.

In his address, Mohammad Atharullah Sharif, Amir-e Halqa (state president) of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Karnataka, said that apparently there is calm in the country but behind the scene, a situation is being created that would only weaken the democratic values of the country
