Protest condemning Egypt Massacre

Jamaat takes out protest in support of Morsy Siddapur: The crackdown on the pro-democracy movement should stop, State secretary of the organisation Sadique said addressing the demonstrators. The Government of India should take serious note of the developments in Egypt and respond appropriately, he said in a protest march.

Members of the Jamaat-e-Islami-Hind, including women and children, took out a march in Siddapur in Kodagu district on Friday 16 Aug 2013 condemning the killing of supporters of deposed Egyptian President Mohamed Morsy, demanding his re-instatement.

The members also condemned the killing of five Indian soldiers on the Line of Control by Pakistani soldiers recently. They would submit a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner tomorrow.

    Very wonder to look the Kodagu Dist JIH “pratibhatana meravanige”. But, I looking into JIH system of elections that they have also following Anti-Democratic Poicy to elect their Ameer-e-Muqami or any other Head of Jamat. And today onwards Jamat not at all take care abour the democratic system of election in its own circles. Who should protest against Jamat.

  2. It is something which is not very clear at all. In Egypt, both are muslims. Similiarly in Syria too. What is the protest against and for whom. Both of them say that they are doing the right thing. I don’t seem to understand these things. One muslim scholar said, the scholars in Eygpt know the best and we should try to align with them. Similiar coups happened lot of places. Not sure what to do.
