Hubli: A longstanding member of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Muhammad Yaqub Makandar passed away on Sunday 30 December 2012 after prolonged illness. He was 83 years old and servived by four son and three daughters.

Muhammad Abdullah Javed President JIH Karnataka has condoled the death and prayed Almighty Allah to bless him with Jannah and strengthen the family members to overcome the loss.
