Tumkur: A lecture was held in Siddaganga Women’s Degree College Tumkur on 31 July 2012 organized by GIO Tumkur Unit in which more than 200 students were present both Muslims and Non-Muslims. The lecture was delivered by Miss Madiha Afshan, State President of Girls Islamic Organization Karnataka on the topic – “Moral Values in View of Ramadan.” In which she stressed on the necessity of moral values and highlighted the precarious condition of moral degradation among the students. She also pointed out the significance of Ramadan in building up of moral values.
The programme took an opening with recitation of Quran by Miss Munazza member GIO, followed by inaugural words by Miss Ammara member GIO and concluded with a vote of thanks by Miss Mohsina Khanum Local President GIO Tumkur.
