Bangalore: The Human Resource Development Cell of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind – Karnataka, in colloaboration with the Students Islamic Organisation of India, Karnataka, the Solidarity Youth Movement, Karnataka and the Board of Islamic Education Karnataka conducted a one day orientation program on 21st February 2016 at BIFT Auditorium, Bangalore, for Students pursuing their education in the field of Civil Service, Law, Journalism, Economics, Education and History.

The program began with the recitation of the Quran followed by inaugural words by Syed Kazim (Coordinator, HRD Cell). Dr. Khajapeer (Former Vice Chancellor, Karnataka University) addressed the gathering on ‘Role and Importance of Social Sciences’. The program was followed by parallel sessions on the above mentioned fields.

The post lunch session featured a talk by Janab Abdus Subhan (Managing Director, Shaheen Group of Institution) on the topic ‘Issues and Challenges in Social Sciences’. The program concluded with a talk and concluding remarks by Janab Atharullah Shareef (Ameer-e-Halqa, Karnataka). Thirty students from across the state participated in the program.
