Jb. Muhammad Abdullah Javed has been appointed as Amire Halqa of Karnataka again for the term April 2011 to March 2015. In view of the historic decision, the state of Goa separated from Karnataka and declared an independent zone. Mr. Abdul Wahid Khan of Mapusa has been appointed as the first Ameer e Halqa of Goa zone.
38 year old Mr. Javed s/o Muhammad Abdul Ghafoor, hails from historic city Raichur, completed his schooling from Naya Madarsa and Graduation in Electronics from L.V.D College and secured his Masters Degree in Nuclear and Energy Physics from Gulbarga University. He has also done an extensive course in Arabic, Islamic Studies and Comparative Religious Studies from Centre for Religious Studies and Guidance, Aligarh under the guidance of renowned scholar Dr. Abdul Haqq Ansari. Earlier he served as State President of Students Islamic Organization of India then as Gen. Sect of the Organization at National Level. He joined Jamaat Markaz at Delhi and worked under the guidance of late Maulana Muhammad Shafi Monis and Jb Muhammad Jaffar sb the then General Secretary. After a year he came back to his state and joined Jamaat as state secy. during the last term of Iqbal Mulla and then during the tenure of late Ibrahim Sayeed. On 7th May 2007 he took charge of Ameer from Mr. Sayeed.
A prolific writer, Mr. Javed is known for his deep knowledge of Quran and Hadith. His three books are under print, two in Urdu, Muntaqabaate Quran (collection of shortest verses) and Naha Rasoolullah (compilation and commentary on selected Ahadith) and one in English Let Us Ask Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) (a compilation of Ahadith dealing with questions and answers) and has written many articles in Urdu and English varying in subject from personal purification to social and organizational issues. His subjects of interest are Quran, Hadith, Personal Purification, Organization, and Social Issues
